(Toy) I was excited to see that it arrived three days prior to the expected delivery date but when I opened the box and pulled the product out the straps riped away from the body! Please note that I did NOT pull or yank it out of the box, it came out very easily. I could sew them back in but I think it will just rip again. The stitching is also coming apart across the top of one of the floaties, in the middle. I was very excited when I ordered this for my 22 month old and am now very dissapointed that I'll have to send it back. Very dissapointed. Maybe it was just the one I got because none of the other reviews have negative comments about construction. (Toy) This taught my toddler to swim independently! Just after my daughter's 3rd birthday, she was able to swim throughout our entire pool without the use of floaties! She was even confident swimming underwater! I absolutely love this swim vest. Sure, it was always too big for her. We tied up the loose velcro ends because of the length. However, that's the only downside. I like the fact that you can take out the floats and adjust as your child gets to be a more adept swimmer. Plus, it teaches correct form instead of making your child's arms stretch straight out as arm floaties do. (Toy) i bought this for my 17 month old daughter to use in her 30 inch deep pool that she can actually touch the ground in. when she would fall wearing this vest she would sink all the way to the bottom! it didn't hold her at all! she was wearing the full padding and she weighs 26 1/2 lbs. this vest is supposed to support up to 40lbs. we had to throw it away bc we had already thrown away the box. don't waste your money on this! |
